Based in Nashville, I became interested in outdoor photography when I went on a bear sightseeing trip in Alaska in high school.  I was inspired by our team sports photographer while I played college football at Tennessee as a long snapper. This is where I was given the nickname "Snapper Dan". These days, I'm snapping pictures.
